Record-breaking flooding along the Missouri River is creating a mess on some Kansas roads. Local firefighters and National Guard members traveled to Doniphan county to help victims.

Northeast Kansas KDOT tweeted photos saying K-7 south of Mill Creek is now closed.

Crews are starting to repair the damage caused by the flooding. KDOT officials say all roads that are shut down because of flooding will be carefully inspected before they are re-opened.
