Governor Laura Kelly will be talking with people in Kansas about a new education funding bill.
She officially signed the bill over the weekend, but will hold a ceremonial bill signing in Wichita on Tuesday.
The bill adds an additional $90 million to go toward public schools, each year for the next five years.
Kansas Supreme Court justices will now need to decide if the amount meets is fair and equitable.
Governor Kelly will also hold a town hall meeting while she is in Wichita.
That meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. at the Wichita Public School headquarters.
