KSU sorority starts St. Jude letter writing campaign

Some Kansas State University students are helping children in need in their pajamas.

Members of the Tri Delta Sorority started their annual “Sincerely Yours” fundraising campaign Wednesday night.  They sent letters to family, friends and business owners asking for money to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Sorority member Bridget Howard” took a trip to the hospital last year.  She says although the pajama party was a fun twist, the cause is something the women take seriously.  Howard said <mosID>KSNT.XPRESSION.MOS</mosID><mosAbstract>You see videos, you see pictures, and you hear stories about it. But until you’re actually there, you don’t understand what it’s actually like. And it really is such a happy place.”

You can help KSNT give back to Saint Jude as well by purchasing a ticket for Topeka’s second Saint Jude Dream Home giveaway.  The home is being built in southwest Topeka just west of 47th and Wanamaker.  All the money raised from the ticket sales goes back to supporting Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  This year’s drawing will be on June 13.  Ttickets will go on sale soon.
