A little sun didn’t stop parents and kids in Wichita from enjoying their snow day.
The Wichita Park and Recreation Department hosted a “winter wonderland” experience Wednesday morning.
It was held at The Mid-America All-Indian Center, with artificial snow created by Snow Bros Snowmakers.
Dunkin Donuts also sponsored the event, providing donuts and coffee for all.
Many parents and children pulled out their sleds and snow tubes for the occasion, wasting no time at all.
Which is a good thing, because most of the artificial snow melted before noon. But that did not stop anyone from getting out there and having a little fun.
