Local business raises over half a million dollars to grant wishes

Advisors Excel

A Topeka business helped raised $581,000 to make wishes come true.

Advisors Excel recently hosted a fundraiser for the Make-a-Wish foundation. The Make-a-Wish foundation grants wishes for children diagnosed with critical illness.

The money was raised in conjunction with more than 700 of the nation’s financial professionals who attended a two-day training event in Phoenix.

“This year we chose Make-a-Wish because really who doesn’t want to put a smile on a child’s face, especially a seriously ill child,” said Tracey Stratton, Public Relations Manager at Advisors Excel.

The company hosts the event each year and always includes an opportunity to raise money for a worthy cause.
