Local charity ‘hits the target’ in sporting clays fundraiser

The Ronald McDonald House of Northeast Kansas raised big bucks in their “Sporting Clays for a Cause” fundraiser. 

The sporting clay shoot was at Ravenwood Lodge in Topeka on Saturday. 

Northeast Kansas Ronald McDonald House Charities Executive Director Mindee Reece said 100 people showed up to the event.

Reece said the event raised more than $5,500. 

The Ronald McDonald House provides a place to stay for families with children in the hospital. 

KSNT was a sponsor of the event and a proud supporter of the Northeast Kansas Ronald McDonald House.
