Local high schoolers are teaching third-graders about the importance of exercise.
Students from Seaman High School led younger kids through a series of activities designed to reinforce the importance of moving.
It happens every year but some teachers said they still get excited about it.
“We have awesome high school helpers that come out and run the stations for us,” said Annette Nally, a physical education teacher. “We couldn’t do it without them. Every year we teach the high schoolers the games, they come out and help us run the stations so they are an integral part of the day.”
Third-graders from Jefferson West, Perry Lecompton, and Royal Valley were also at the event.
