As the Shawnee County Fair wrapped up on Sunday, 4-H crowned the 2018 King and Queen. Out of a group of 10 contestants, 2 were chosen.
Molly Biggs was crowned as queen and Ian Schulz was named King. As fair royalty the two are representatives of the fair and leaders within the community.
“I love working with other people whether it be children or going to nursing homes or whatever,” Biggs said, “I love helping people.”
Molly’s brother and sister were crowned as this year’s runner ups.
