911 lines restored in Pottawatomie, Riley and Jackson Counties

UPDATE: At 1:16 p.m. the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the system was working properly.

The Riley County Police Department 911 system is working again.

The Jackson County 911 system has been restored.

POTTAWATOMIE COUNTY, Kan. (KSNT) – The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office and Jackson County are informing residents that the 911 phone lines are currently experiencing an outage.

The sheriff’s office told residents on social media they are working to get 911 operational again.

We are working to get the issue resolved but until 911 is back operational, please contact us at 785-457-3353 for any emergencies or calls for service.
