The cause of an early Tuesday morning central Topeka house fire is still under investigation.
Topeka fire crews responded to 930 SW Lincoln shortly before 2:30 a.m. on a reported structure fire.
When crews arrived they could see smoke and flames on the outside of the two story house.
Crews searched the house and found it to be vacant and the fire was quickly extinguished.
Investigators said the fire started at the ground level and spread to the outside of the house.
There were no reported injuries.
The estimated amount of damage is reported to be $5,000.
