City of Topeka officials said Street crews will start treating the roads when snow is expected to start falling at 7 p.m. The night crew will come in work a 12-hour shift to treat the roads throughout the night. The street department has 15 dump trucks and 6 pup trucks available. The crews will continue to monitor the forecast for any changes and make adjustments accordingly.
The city manager will evaluate clearing residential streets at a later time when primary and secondary streets have been cleared.
