The re-trial for a woman convicted of a double murder has been moved to September.
After a hearing Wednesday morning asking for the re-trial of Dana Chandler to be continued, District Attorney Michael Kagay tells KSNT News the re-trial will now start on September 18. Six years ago, Chandler was found guilty of killing her ex-husband Mike Sisco and his fiance’ Karen Harkness. They were shot to death at a southwest Topeka apartment in 2002. Her conviction was overturned by the Kansas Supreme Court last year.
