Two Geary County corrections officers test positive for coronavirus

GEARY COUNTY, Kan. (KSNT) – Two Geary County corrections officers have tested positive for coronavirus, according to the Geary County Sheriff’s Office.

The first officer’s results came back positive around 12:30 Thursday afternoon. The sheriff’s office said the second officer was tested as result of direct contact with the first officer.

The sheriff’s office said it’s following the Geary County Health Department’s coronavirus recommendations and assisting with contact tracing.
