A local group is inviting people to help improve Manhattan’s Wildcat Creek.
Over Labor Day weekend flash flooding caused the creek to spill over forcing people out of their homes.
On April 18th the ‘Resilient Wildcat Creek Citizen Advisory Team’ will meet.
The purpose of the meeting is to go over plans on how to better respond to and protect the surrounding communities from the impacts of flooding. Anyone is welcome to attend.
That meeting will start at 6:30 at Manhattan City Hall.
