A Wamego man will be sentenced next month in connection with the death of a teenager whose body was found on a river bank.

Cody Lamia-Beck, 24, entered a plea of no contest to intentional second-degree murder of Jacob Bouck, Pottawatomie County Attorney Sherri Schuck said. After evidence of the crime was presented, the court on Friday found Beck guilty.

Bouck, 19,  was reported missing December 21.  Deputies found his body on the bank of the Kansas River on Christmas Eve, about a mile west of Wamego.

A coroner’s report showed Bouck was stabbed to death.

Lamia-Beck’s sentencing is set for July 19.
