Local News

TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) – The Kansas Corporation Commission extended a previous rule, which means your utilities cannot be disconnected now through the end of May.

On Tuesday, KCC announced it’s extending its emergency order until May 31.

The order suspends utility disconnects for customers who don’t pay their bills. It’s intended to protect Kansans who have lost their jobs because of the coronavirus.
