KU fans remain optimistic despite loss in Big 12 championship game

Local News

Many KU fans walked out of the Sprint Center disappointed Saturday night after the loss to Iowa State in the Big 12 championship game.

Despite the loss, fans are confident the team can bounce back.

Throughout the game, the Jayhawks never gained any solid momentum on the court or in the crowd.

While KU kept it within reach, they weren’t able to get the job done.

Some KU fans think the struggles they’ve had this season could serve as some good motivation moving forward.

“It’s been a humbling year,” said KU fan Dylan Eubanks. “It’s a tough break. It sucks, but at the same time, you know, we’re going to rebuild.”

While it may not have been the outcome they were hoping for, the fans seemed to have a good time regardless.
