Less than half of St. Jude Dream Home tickets remain after morning telethon

Local News

Time is running out to get a chance at the new St. Jude Dream Home in Topeka.

Over 3,816 tickets have been sold after Friday morning’s live telethon at KSNT, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital spokeswoman Lydia Chapman confirmed.

Local phone bankers will be back at 4:45 p.m. for you to reserve a $100 ticket in the Dream Home Giveaway. You can also call 1-800-846-2640 or click here to purchase one of the remaining 3,684 tickets, and potentially win a brand new home. One lucky winner’s ticket will be drawn June 13, but those who call by the end of the day Friday are eligible to win a $10,000 Visa gift card and outdoor storage shed.

The 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath, approximately 3600-square-foot house is valued at $485,000. Open houses to view the home will begin May 18 on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 5:00 p.m.

All proceeds go to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which helps children fight serious illnesses like cancer at no cost to the parents.
