Manhattan Fire Dept: ‘Please use extra caution’

TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) – The Manhattan Fire Department is warning residents to stay home. In a social media post the fire department said by early Monday morning they had responded to 19 calls.

The extreme temperatures can be very dangerous and avoiding having to be rescued might be the best strategy.
