A 14-year-old girl missing since Tuesday night has been found in Colorado.

The Topeka Police Department have confirmed that 14-year-old Chloe Hunnicutt has been found. Hunnicutt’s mother posted on Facebook early Friday morning saying Chloe has been found and is in police protective custody. Investigations are ongoing.  Police say she was found in Cortez, Colorado.

Chloe disappeared from her home Tuesday around 11:00 p.m. She was believed to have run off with a 47-year-old man who was previously a friend of the family.

Kristen told KSNT News Anchor Brooke Lennington the night Chloe disappeared she could see footprints that appeared to belong to Chloe in the fresh snow from her home to the street.

When she followed the footprints, they led to tire tracks and then stopped, appearing as if Chloe got in a vehicle.

This is a developing story. KSNT News will provide updates as more information becomes available.
