As of 3:48 p.m., SW 93rd Street is closed between SW Topeka Boulevard and SW Jordan Road, according to a post by the SCSO.

The Shawnee Heights Fire District, Mission Township Fire Department, Auburn Fire, MTAA Fire, and the Kansas Air National Guard are on the scene.

Justin Zuberku, Shawnee Heights battalion chief, said firefighters responded to a report of a mower fire that was inside one of the structures. One building was initially in flames, and then spread to a second building.

“Due to the accessibility issues, we lost that structure as well,” Zuberku said.

No injuries have been reported, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation by the Kansas State Fire Marshal. Currently, the fire is believed to have been accidental in nature.
