TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) – Highway 24 was closed in Jefferson County Thursday after a single-vehicle accident involving a semi-truck.
The overturned semi closed both eastbound and westbound traffic on Highway 24 near Williamstown.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said the driver was seriously hurt. KHP said the driver was headed westbound when he took the curve too fast, left the roadway to the left and rolled.
The semi-truck was hauling canned fruit.
