The Kansas Expocentre broke ground on their new Renovations and Expansion on Monday at the Expocentre. The 2 year project includes, Concession Stand Upgrades, Seat Replacements in Landon Arena, New Lighting and Sound System, expansion of Exhibition Hall, Livestock Facility Improvements, parking lot repairs and a new exterior skin. Shawnee County Commissioners Bob Archer, Kevin Cook and Bill Riphahn spoke briefly about the new project and Kansas Expocentre General Manager, Kellen Seitz thanked the County Commissioners and HTK Architects for making the $48 Million project a reality.
