One person has died following an accident in Manhattan.
According to the Riley County Police Department, officers responded to a report of a crash near the intersection of Tuttle Creek Blvd and Seth Child, in north Manhattan at approximately 8:00 a.m.
Andrew George Drysdale, 40, was found to be the driver of the vehicle. He was traveling northbound on K-113, and failed to stop at the intersection of K-113 and US-24 Highway. Drysdale hit the guardrail, going down an embankment before hitting a tree. The car then stopped, stopping upside down, on the roof. Drysdale was also not wearing a seatbelt.
Drysdale was pronounced dead. He was taken to the Irvin-Parkview mortuary.
