Strong City’s summer meal program has returned for hungry kids, after a brief hiatus in 2018.

The program, known as “That Pop-up Restaurant” is run by the local organization, Social Innovation Laboratory. Each year, the United States Department of Agriculture partners with local organizations like this one in order to provide the free meals to kids.

The meals are served to any child under 18 free of charge, and adults are allowed to purchase a meal for $5.

The restaurant will be set-up at the Sante Fe Depot on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. beginning on June 4.
