Topeka man involved in deadly K-10 crash

The Kansas Highway Patrol says a crash on K-10 Tuesday killed a 19-year-old Shawnee man.

58-year-old Michael Brown, from Topeka, was headed west on K-10 when he slowed down because of traffic.

Dylan Garnett was unable to slow down and hit the back of Brown’s semi.

The incident was reported at 1:30 p.m. on westbound K-10 near Ridgeview, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.

Brown was taken to a local hospital with a complaint of pain.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
