Topeka woman jailed in Holton after sheriff's sting

HOLTON, Kan. (KSNT) - A Topeka woman identified as 28-year-old Alexandria  Nicola George is in the Jackson County jail after a bust by an undercover Jackson County Sheriff's Deputy.

Sheriff Tim Morse said George had been communicating by phone with the undercover deputy and was arrested on a variety of charges including battery on a law enforcement officer, possession of methamphetamine with the intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, felony obstruction and unlawful use of a phone for a felony drug crime. She was arrested Wednesday afternoon near 8th and Ohio Street in Holton.

Morse said the Holton Police Department assisted in the sting. Other details surrounding the case were not immediately  available.
