JUNCTION CITY (KSNT) – A watch party will be held on Monday and Tuesday for “The Voice” contestant Justin Aaron in Junction City.
The C.L. Hoover Opera House will be hosting the watch party on Dec. 5-6. Doors will open at 6 p.m. for the party which will last from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The event is free but seats must be reserved by calling 785-307-6854.
“I mean we know that we have support and people who love us, but just to see an outpour of a community do something like this,” Kori Black, Aaron’s husband said. “I’m not saying that like I’ve never seen that before, but I’ve never seen it before so close to me, and it’s like, wow. And I tell Justin like ‘Junction City has your back. You don’t have to worry about anything else.”
KSNT has been following Aaron’s journey on “The Voice” since October when he made his debut in front of a national audience. He is currently among the final eight contestants for this year’s competition.
Aaron hails from Junction City where he works as a high school paraprofessional and sharpens his skills as a singer at his local church. Last week, he successfully moved into the semi-finals after receiving enough votes from fans.
