Midwest’s largest indoor Christmas tree display combines holiday nostalgia and Kansas history


While most people are thinking about Halloween, one nearby town already has Christmas on the brain.

Lecompton’s traditional Christmas tree display is up and ready for people to see.

The display has more than 150 trees along with decorations from around the world inside the Territorial Capital Museum.

You can check out the display for yourself now through Jan. 1,  Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and on Sunday from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
