A man is on a mission to run 50 marathons in 50 states, including one on the famed Chisholm Trail. Yasir Salem (@yasirsalem) is running in memory of his late wife. KSNW’s Sara Berlinger caught up with him this weekend in Wichita, Kansas. She joined us to share what he told her about his journey.

In East Texas, the Nacogdoches Rodeo is known for many things, from bull riding to mutton busting. On Friday night, a young girl who is on the verge of beating cancer was honored during the festivities. KETK’s Matt Thibodaeux was there for the special ceremony and joined our conversation to tell us all about it.
