Newsfeed Now: TSA crackdown on guns; people buying flu infected tissues, on purpose!

On Newsfeed Now for Feb. 13, we were talking about a University of Arkansas professor’s claims that a Delta Air Lines pilot assaulted him because of his race. KNWA’s Peyton Yager spoke with the man’s lawyer and the airline to get a better idea of what happened.

Our next topic, guns at airports. The TSA is cracking down after thousands of loaded firearms were found at airport checkpoints across the country. WATN’s Tish Clark reported from Memphis.

WJTV’s Melanie Christopher joined us to discuss her look into a study about screen time for children that had some shocking results and a warning for parents. Some doctors are saying too much screen time could be changing the shape of their children’s brains and impacting how well they learn.

And finally, would you rub a tissue infected with the flu on your nose to fight off the virus? Some people are paying to do just that and WKRG’s Dana Winter hit the streets to find out what people think about it.
