Kansas City Chiefs Quarterback Patrick Mahomes is helping motivate midwest kids to pursue their dreams.
Mahomes joined superhero characters, cooking show stars, and other athletes in Iowa this week, for a program called ‘exercising your character.’
Thousands of elementary school students and their teachers filled ‘Hyvee Hall” in Des Moines, to hear Mahomes talk about what inspired him to get out and achieve his life goal.
“I have a little sister that is seven years old so I know how much of an impact it is in their lives at that age. So I am excited that I was able to talk to them and tried to give them whatever motivation they need in order to go out there and live their dreams and fulfill them,” said Mahomes.
Mahomes also talked about a new partnership with Hyvee, and his new foundation called “15 and the Ma-Homies.”
That foundation is designed to help kids across America succeed in sports and in the classroom.
