TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) – A Black Lives Matter event on Saturday morning at the Kansas State Capitol focused on healing individuals affected by violence in the community.

“Right now we are doing healing work,” said event organizer Regina Platt. “We are asking how each individual has been affected, and what they can do to help heal our community.”

There were approximately 20 people in attendance at the rally.
