Shawnee County Parks and Rec. transformed Ward Meade Park into an authentic 1880’s Christmas Village. Old Time Holiday Happenings takes guests back 140 years to when life was simple, dinner was cooked in the hearth, candles and oil lamps provided light and the sound of a steam locomotive could be heard miles away. Old Time Holiday Happenings will take place from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Dec, 6, 7, 13 and 14.
