TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) – A rally on the south steps of the statehouse drew around 50 supporters Saturday afternoon.

We Can’t Breathe rally organizer Juanice Sierra Crowley held the rally to open the dialogue about racial issues our country faces today.

An open mic was available to anyone who wished to speak. Several people from the crowd spoke about their personal experiences with racial inequality, sang songs and offered others encouragement.
