Three K-State students who were banned from the Kansas Statehouse on Wednesday received some big news.
Originally the students were banned for one year, but are now allowed back in.
Jonathan Cole and two other students hung large banners inside the Statehouse criticizing Republican lawmakers who opposed expanding Medicaid.
Statehouse officials took the banners down, saying the students didn’t get prior permission to hang them.
The students were escorted out and were originally banned for one year but on Thursday, the ban was reversed.
Officials have not provided an explanation for the reversal.
