Riley County police looking for aggravated robbery suspect

MANHATTAN (KSNT) – The Riley County Police Department is looking to identify a subject believed to be involved in an aggravated burglary at a Manhattan liquor store Wednesday night.

RCPD says that at 10:20 Wednesday night officers were dispatched to 505 Leavenworth Street for a report of an aggravated robbery and aggravated assault at Fifths Liquor. Officers were told that a white male wearing a dark blue shirt had entered the business and demanded the clerk give him money while brandishing a firearm.

Officers say the unknown suspect to be a white male standing approximately 6 feet tall, approximately 190-200 pounds with blue eyes and unknown color of hair. The suspect was wearing a dark color short sleeve shirt and dark color pants with dark boots. He covered his face with a white bandana and wore a blue stocking cap with white gloves.

The suspect fled before police arrived leaving the scene in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of money.
