A famous “Star Wars” actor came to Topeka Wednesday to speak with kids and members of the military.

Spencer Wilding is most known for his role as Darth Vader in the movie “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.”

He spoke to kids at the Boys & Girls Club of Topeka about bullying and signed autographs.

Later he visited Forbes Field where he held a meet and greet with military members and their families.

Wilding said that he wants to use his platform to spread awareness about issues like bullying.

“I’ve been bullied myself. You know, so I understand it. I feel it and I overcome it. You know, so it’s very important. I’m in a position that kids will look up to me and listen to me.”

Wilding is a part of an anti-bullying organization in Whales called “I-Spy” where he visits schools to talk to students about anti-bullying.
