Stolen guns now off Manhattan streets

MANHATTAN (KSNT) – A pair of stolen guns are now off Riley County streets and out of the hands of criminals.

RCPD officers arrested 18-year-old Javon Gray of Manhattan after serving a search warrant in the 1300 block of Flint Hills Place Thursday night. They recovered two firearms worth about $1,650 that had been reported as stolen. Gray was booked into the Riley County Jail for possession of stolen property and contributing to a child’s misconduct.

A 16-year-old teen was listed as the victim of contributing to a child’s misconduct. Police learned the stolen weapons were also in his possession. The investigation is ongoing.
