What We’re Tracking:
- Slight rain chance tonight
- Humidity returns Friday
- Rain chances sprinkled in Father’s Day weekend
Clouds will begin to increase throughout the evening and into the overnight hours with a small chance of some scattered showers and weak thunderstorms after midnight. Low temperatures will cool down once again in the upper 50s leaving a chillier start to your Friday morning.
Showers could potentially continue sporadically throughout Friday morning but not everyone may see rain. The rest of the day should stay dry with a mix of sun and clouds leaving for another beautiful afternoon with high temperatures returning to normal in the upper 70s and low 80s. Although the temperatures seem nice, humidity will start to return so that ‘sticky’ feeling will be in the air tomorrow afternoon with winds coming from the south at 10-20 mph.
The chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms returns late Friday evening and into early Saturday morning before clearing out for the start of your weekend with high temperatures warming up into the upper 80s. With the humidity still in place, the heat index could very well reach into the lower 90s for Saturday. In terms of the afternoon and evening hours, rain chances could once again return but again nothing seems to be severe for the viewing area.
Father’s Day looks to be a nice one aside from the slight chance of some scattered showers so beware of those for anyone cooking out. Looking past that, dew point temperatures will ease off therefore lowering the humidity slightly with high temperatures in the low to middle 80s.
