We’ll finally see our winds relax a little by tomorrow, and with mostly sunny skies, we should be able to warm into the lower 60s across the area! However, there’s cooler weather ahead!
We’ve been tracking our next storm system all week, and it’s sped up a bit. It now looks like the best chance for rain showers will be on Friday. Don’t be surprised if you see a few snowflakes mixing in though early on Friday. High temperatures will only make it into the upper 40s and low 50s by Friday afternoon. We’re not expecting any accumulation with this system, but it won’t be out of the question for a few places south of I-70 to see some snowflakes flying around!
After that system moves out early Saturday, we’ll be tracking warmer temperatures just in time for spring to start on Sunday! Highs will climb into the low-mid 60s by the beginning of next week, and by the middle of the week, we’ll have temperatures in the 70s once again!
