“Team Blake” teaming up with St. Jude for Dream Home

“Team Blake” and the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital have come together to help make this year’s Topeka St. Jude Dream Home a reality. Chris Cazier, the owner of Modern Masonry, is donating stone work that will be featured on the outside of the home at 4631 SW Verna Lane.

Cazier’s two-year-old son Blake died two years ago after a battle with leukemia. The Topeka community rallied around “Team Blake” during the boy’s treatment.

Although Blake was never admitted to St. Jude, Cazier feels a special connection with the hospital.

“Children with cancer, I feel God has blessed with an extra big heart and extra smile and St. Jude caters to that,” said Cazier.

Cazier will be installing stone on the front porch collums, the back porch fireplace and around the exterior of the home. He says he’s waiting for “nice weather” to start the instalation.
