Three people are dead after crash Tuesday morning in Montgomery County.
It happened on U.S. Highway 75 just north of the U.S. 166 junction around 8:30 a.m.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said the collision involved two cars and four people. Three people were pronounced dead at the scene. Their names haven’t been released. A fourth person was transported to a hospital in Oklahoma for treatment.
The Kansas Highway Patrol along with the help of the KHP’s Critical Highway Accident Response Team is investigating the crash.
U.S. Highway 75 is still open for traffic. However, the Kansas Department of Transportation has closed all but one shoulder down for thru traffic.
