One in custody after early morning car chase in Topeka

TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) – One person was taken into custody after leading law enforcement on a car chase through southeast Topeka early Thursday morning.

Shawnee County Sheriff’s Deputies attempted to stop a car near southeast 29th and Indiana Avenue just before 12:30 a.m., according to Shawnee County Dispatch. Deputies chased the car down Indiana Avenue and finally stopped the driver near 18th Street.
