Man in custody after multi-hour standoff in southeast Topeka

TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) — A man is now in custody after an hours long standoff in Topeka Friday afternoon.

Police swarmed a home near 25th and Michigan in Southeast Topeka.

They were working for hours to get a wanted felon to come outside.

Officers have streets blocked off in the area and are asking people to avoid the area.
