TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) – A petition to change the date of Halloween is capturing the attention of thousands as it circulates.
As of Sunday night the petition to move Halloween had gathered almost 100,000 signatures. It was started by the Halloween & Costume Association.
They argue that moving Halloween to the last Saturday of October would make for a safer, longer and less stressful celebration. The petition has now sparked a nationwide debate.
