Topeka Police in search of people involved in overnight shootings

TOPEKA, Kan. (KSNT) – Topeka Police are investigating after two separate overnight shootings.

The first one happened shortly after midnight in downtown Topeka near 5th and southwest Tyler.

Police say a man walked to a local hospital with two gunshot wounds. He is expected to be ok.

Topeka Police were flagged down a few hours later for a different shooting in east Topeka. Police found a victim at 6th and Lime.

The victim said he was shot by a man and that a bullet grazed his face. 

Officers could hear arguing inside a nearby home and called for back-up. Everyone was removed from the home.

The victim was treated on scene.

No arrests have been made in either of the shootings at this time.
