Three injured in Manhattan crash, Scenic Drive reopened


MANHATTAN, Kan. (KSNT) – Riley County police officers responded to a crash that hurt three people Wednesday afternoon.

The crash happened before noon in the 1000 block of South Scenic Drive. The stretch of road was closed from K-18 to Anderson Avenue while officers responded to the crash.

RCPD said a 2014 Chevrolet Impala and a 2012 Isuzu work truck crashed after the Isuzu entered the roadway and was hit by the Impala.

Two people were inside each vehicle. Everyone was taken to Via Christi, except for the passenger of the Impala. She was flown to Topeka.

The conditions of their injuries are unknown at this time.
