Washburn Rural tops Topeka High to win the 6A state girls championship

The girls from Washburn Rural topped Topeka High to bring home the 6A state championship. The two Topeka schools split games during the regular season and this third one battle was also the one that would decide the state title. 

Washburn held the lead for most of the game and won it 54-42. It’s their first title in 10 years.
