Washburn student uses art to fight P.T.S.D.

A local student is sharing his story of survival through art.
Aldrick Scott served in the marine corps for ten years before serving in the army for another ten.
His senior exhibit is called “Wounded Ink”.
He uses art to heal from P.T.S.D.
Scott worked with the veteran community at Washburn University for his work.
He says a lot of them share the same message he’s tried to express through his art.

“Something everybody no matter where you’re at what time in life you’re at you are worth it. Me doing my art help show that illustrates that,” said Scott.

You can see the art through Friday at the Washburn University Art Department building.
